Hannajo....I just used a thin polyester batting as I didn't want them to be too thick.

Thank you for the compliment. My dog is our BIG baby. He's a Great Pyrenes and right now only weighs 162. In the winter, he'll get close to 200 lbs. Fills up the backseat of the car. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Boy... For the great work and effort from the heart you sure do doubt yourself. Turn each of those around. 'Check out the effort I put into a loving gift for my mom.' ...and... 'I am a new quilter giving it my best'... and maybe... 'check out the photos'.
You did a great job. My first quilts were strip quilts, Trip Around the World to be exact, and they didn't come out quite this good. Kudos to you!!!
