    What a wonderful story! Your mother will be thrilled. Does she have any idea that you have done this or that you had the fabric? If you have answered these questions, no need to answer again, I will read all of the 9 pages of posts tomorrow. I swear that I recognize a couple of those fabrics from a quilt that my grandmother did around that time. I will have to check tomorrow--I really want to go into my guest room and wake my DD, DSIL and DGD right now to check, but they would probably not appreciate it :).

    Oh, what an amazing gift that will be for her! I lost my mom in September 2008 and I love that you are giving yours this lovely gift that will mean so much to her. Good for you!!!
