The last queen size quilt I did on my little machine, I did the batt in thirds. (might have learned that on this board) You cut your batt into thirds. Then start with the middle, and quilt that. Then you whip stitch the 2nd 1/3 batting on one side and quilt that. Then the last 1/3. It really did make a difference. It's a bit fiddley but reduces the bulk.

This is the first time I have chosen to work with a charity so it will be learning experience. Hope fully they will raise lots of money.
