More Autumn Splendor - Placemats & Napkins

I just completed the placemats & napkins to match http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...o-t256188.html quilt. Recently someone posted a link to a self binding napkin tutorial. They were perfect for this design. Easy, too. I used the leftover rectangles from the quilt to make binding. Why do the diagonal seams in binding always end up in the corners? Still have the runner to quilt and finish. The rug design is coming together.

Very pretty! I always walk my binding around the edges before sewing to avoid seams in the corners.

So do I, but with this binding at least one seam fell in a corner due to the length of the strips.

Wow! These are very pretty. I love how you did each napkin different.

where did you find the beautiful fabric? I would love to make exactly that for my DDIL, but can't get out to shop around. I need to buy fabric online and while it is fun, you never know exactly what the colors or print size will be.

The fabric is Fall Spectacular by Fabri-Quilt, Inc. It is from several years ago. I searched on line to find all of the fabric. Bought from several sites. Here is the site that shows all of the fabric in that line, but you cannot buy from them.

If you put your cursor over each fabric, the fabric number will come up. Google search to find stores that have it. There were some that I could not find. I also used eBay for some. Hope this helps.

I bought 3 matching baskets (different sizes) and made all three alike. One for the table, one for the mantle (largest), and one for the display shelf (smallest) over the cooktop.
