Thank you everyone. Yes there is wastage. Until just recently I didn't worry about it too much but I have decided to try using the leftovers in crazy blocks. How much is left depends on the fabric and how many repeats you can get out of it. But I am sure the leftovers can be used for other things. It's just a matter of thinking about it.

I never would have thought of doing a Dresden as a kaleidoscope. Yours are gorgeous. You sure got a lot of different looks from the one fabric.
