The "Gift" Mug Matt and the Ornament Hot pad are for my Quilt Guild. The Blue & Green Mini quilt is for a friend who discarded the 1/2 sq triangles from another quilt she made. I just stitched them together. I'm anxious to see what she says when I give it to her. We'll get a good laugh I know.

How charming! The positioning of the paisley fabric on the ornament is spot on! What size did you make the mug rugs? They both would make grat tree ornaments.
Isn't it fun to make something from someone else's leftovers!

Thank You. Mug Rugs are about 8". The ornament was really a fun and easy project and I had a great time with the scraps. She was sitting across from me, cutting them off her quilt pieces and I would sew them together. She asked what I was going to do with them and I told her I had no idea. When I finished I had used all but 3 of the scrap pieces.
