Your Blue & Yellow blocks are beauties I love that colour combination together. Are you hand quilting each one?

Yes, the quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted, though I did hand piece one block, just to give it a try,

    Esqmommy,

I think one of the reasons it turned out well is that the instructors at my LQS are very patient! One has to be in her eighties, she's the owner and her daughter used to teach Junion Kindergarten. They are wonderful. I only paid $25 dollars for the class, which went for weekly for six months, but they encouraged us to come in if we had a problem to work one on one with us. The older woman worked with me on the hand quilting and I've come a long way thanks to them! Thanks!

Your blocks are wonderful! I especially like your card trick block. Your echo quilting makes it look fantastic!

I have some of that blue-with-yellow-stars fabric coming in the mail someday soon! I ordered it for a wedding present quilt I'll be making for some friends who are getting married in November.
