My cousin is turning 60. He's throwing a party for family and asked for no gifts, but since he loves farming and the family farm in particular... I just had to make him something he didn't know he needed. If he squawks I'll tell him they are for his 59th. :D

The other two are for Rachel again. She seems to think going to Alaska for 6 weeks to collect data on salmon (bear food) is a good idea. I don't. But thought these would show my support... I'm going to tell her I hope these are the only bears she sees. Plus it's cold up there--so hers are flannel.

Love your pillowcases, is the farm fabric Debbie Mumm by any chance. Rachel will love the polar bear fleece ones to snuggle up to - like a comfort pillow, so sweet.

    Karla, I love the pillowcases.
Don't worry about Rachel, she will be fine.
My youngest DD did similiar things when
she was in college: backpacking in Chilie
to count "endangered" deer; sailing a tall
ship to the Carribean from Wood's Hole
among other things and did just fine........
    She is an adventurer and
always will be, we just accept it now...

    (I didn't say I didn't (and don't) still
worry. That's what moms do best!)

These are all adorable! I love pillowcases--each one can be special and different, but they're so darned easy to make! INSTANT gratification!
