Here is my latest Wounded Warrior quilt. Its a 3D bowtie, for a soldier at Fort Hood Army base in Killeen,TX.
It won an Honorable Mention award in my guild's show this weekend. Chisholm Trail Quilt Guild, Georgetown,Texas.

The log cabin Quilt of Valor is for my sons Sgt. in the air force. My son had gone through a really tough time and both his Sgt. and the Sgt's wife stepped up in a big way and helped him through it!! It's so hard as parent to be so far away when your child is in turmoil!! My husband and I appreciated their kindness towards him so much that I made them this quilt and also 2 pillowcases for their children and mailed them out to them. They received them this past week and called me yesterday to thank me and let me know how much they loved them!!
