Only because this has to be the longest Winter in memory - a full 6 months of it!

We had 4-5" on friday. Lots of melting yesterday, and sunshine this morning...so far. More snow coming this afternoon, and several days this coming week. I WANT SPRING!!!!!!! (Yes, I am yelling. ;) )

I feel badly for the little birds that have come back. Thursday there was lots of seeds to be had, Friday they had to really work to find them. Needless to say, the easy pickings in the feeders are about gone....I'll have to fill them again today.

Our weather may be crazy, but I'd rather be here than anywhere else in the USA. But, we weren't all supposed to like the same thing. Wouldn't that be something to live with? LOL

Snow really looks pretty and if I don't have to drive on it, I love it. We go north for the Holidays and I get my snow fix then. It seem the whole upper east and mid-west have had a really hard winter this year and it doesn't want to leave. When we lived north, and we got some trying weather I used to repeat to myself, "It is a day closer to spring". It always seemed when we had a hard winter, it just skipped spring and went right into summer.
