    more Talk-About Books!

These are so much fun to make. I am always on the look out for perfect fabrics to make story connections. My grandchildren (not for a few years yet) are going to have several waiting for them because there are so many favorite fabrics I want him/her/them to have! :-)

More pictures.... I love the black and white with red with ladybugs. I'm thinking of doing many more black and white blocks. Now I'm out of title pages, so that's the job for tomorrow. :-)

Those are fantastic! So bright and educational! I would love to make one for my DGD's. Is there a pattern or are they your own design?

    Last few...
I have some dog bone fabric to make prairie points for the dogs now! Actually, it's from my student bookmark project. I can't wait to start those. Fabric is cut and ready to go!

They are my design, BUT the peek-a-boo block is by Karie Patch designs. It's taken me weeks to stop tweaking the pattern, but I think it's where it's going to stay. It's kind of tricky.

I created a sheet for parents with ideas on how to use the book for vocadevelopmentnt. Credit to Karie Patch is on the sheet. This is an exciting project. I'm a teacher and working with infants on wordhasas always been a passion of mine.

You have me ooooh-ing and aaaah-ing! lol This is SO CUTE! I WANT one! I've been collecting baby fabrics with greats in mind, which could happen in the very near future with 11 grandchildren ranging in age from 8 to nearly 24. This would be a wonderful addition to a baby quilt. Thanks for posting!

This is wonderful! I wish I'd known about it when my DGS was young enough to enjoy it. I'm not on FB but if I was, I'd 'like' you.

Oh are they fun. I can just see your grandchildren smiling looking at them, discovering the hidden fabrics and hugging the books.

I am so, so impressed with your book. Did you design it yourself or is it a pattern? It is fantastic and something any little gal or guy will love. You did a fabulous job of creating it.

Your books are great! I may have to whip up a couple for my grandchildren-to-be) too. They can wait in my stash of baby fabrics for the time when I get to make quilts for him/her/them.

Ohhh, there's another must do for my list. I don't have grandchildren yet (but maybe some day) Don't know if I could pull this off; looks difficult. Your book turned out GREAT. Love it.
