I hope Im putting this is the right spot, so here goes. I went to this place called The Crossing, its a new thrift store and I scored! I found these patterns for a total of $3.50! And, a king size log cabin kit for $5.00!. The pic on the box doesnt really show the true colors of the material, so I took one of them out of the box. It was still wrapped, had never been opened! The date on the front of 1982!! At another place I got these king size backings for $1.00 each, one white and one off white. I love thrift stores.

Don't you just love finding bargains like this? I feel good for days afterward. I think some of those patterns are still very current. I'm pretty sure I saw the St. Nick one at Paducah quilt show this last April.

Superdeedooper! Congratulations on the great find. I love it when that happens. It kinda makes up for all the trips when there is nothing of interest! :?
