That's really cute! I like the less traditional Christmas fabrics sometimes... and that worked really well!

Yup...yup.....actually they are both mine!!! I love your table runner...and you did say you would decide to give it to someone for Christmas....hi my name is sandpat, but I go by "someone"..... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Actually, I think if you listen again to what the teacher was saying, she mentions that you sew the two strips together, then MEASURE across the two strip piece ... that measurement will be the width you cut the single strip .. if I sew 2-two and a half inch strips together, the chances that they will be 4.5" are pretty slim, since ACCURATE is not in my vocabulary <g>.
In this way, you can sew any size strips together, and make the tube any size if you just measure the resultant joined piece.
Did I just muddy the waters???

K3N .. you have done the tube quilting PROUD!
Such a striking pattern, and your added comments on the amount of fabric you used to produce your table runner and doll quilt.

Not at all muddy...I was going to say somewhat the same thing, but you said it so much better!

They look great! Good job! I just love that method...I just need to figure out how to do all the math correctly so I can do all of my HST that way.
