I love that quilt. I have seen that quilt done in civil war fabrics--also scrappy. The only difference is the setting blocks were all done in a black print. I thought it would make a perfect sofa quilt. I tried to purchase the pattern only but the shop would only sell it as a kit. I could figure out the 4 patch and setting blocks but I was not sure how to do the setting triangles and corners. You did a great job.

Thanks for the idea Rose, yours is very pretty and I've been bumbling over a huge pile of scraps ( I think I have enough to fill a 55 gal trash can) and trying to figure out just what to do with them has stressed me out quit a bit lately. Your quilt certainly gave me inspiration to just dive in and get busy. Thanks a bunch!!!

i love how setting it on point makes the smaller squares make a chain the length of the quilt to draw your eyes over the whole quilt. Would be perfect pattern for my church group. look out scraps--here I come!

Love you scrappy quilt because all those colors show up making it looking unique. Love those scrappys. Never thought to try your way.

This gives me a very wonderful idea....your quilt is really neat and is so beautiful. Now I know what to do with some of my scraps.
