    Default Mother's Birthday & Mother's Day gifts.
    My mom is 71 and gets cold easily. So about every 6-7 years she gets a new quilt or bathrobe---something she can wrap up in. Well, she got a UFO I received from an octagenarian. My mother has a King-sized bed so more was needed for the original pattern. After getting her bed cleared off of an old store-bought comforter, she was finally able to place the new quilt on her bed. She politely told me "thank you" but then informed me that it just didn't look right without pillowcases to go with it.

    This is what she got. 3 Standards, 2 Kings, the quilt with sashing and additional borders and the original pattern.
