    Did you use shirts for the lights? Or just shirting-look prints? (I'm cutting strips for a shirting quilt, and wonder if shirt fabric, even though 100% cotton, sews differently.)

    The fabric for my lights is from a fat quarter bundle of traditional looking fabrics. I won it at a quilt show!
