I have made this tote many times. I just love it. I use one as a brief case daily. I did change the interior of the bag. I added different lines to the inside pocket so I could have an area for the cell phone, pen & anything else. I also added a clasp on the side so my keys stopped having a party at the bottom of the bag. I get many complements about the bag. i have also donated them at work & we filled it up with stuff for a raffle.

Move over "Bowtucks bag" because I think this Daytripper bag is going to be my new favorite totebag pattern. I love love love the scooped pocket....I was going to make a prototype bag to make sure I liked it but I decided to dig right into my precious batiks and made one up....

Do you have a favorite totebag pattern?
