Wow! 34 shops on one trip! I hope by the time we have been married 50 yrs. my husband will let me stop at all the quilt shops! We have been married 36 yrs. now. Beautiful quilts!!

Doesn't matter here on the board, he just looks like he wouldn't want to be anywhere else but standing next to that quilt. They both look great. your GS looks proud and happy as a peacock!

I read the part about all the quilt shop stops to my husband so he knows there are others out there. lol I can't remember him accompanying me to one though. ;-)

Mt Rushmore facts--carved by Gutzen Borglum. My maiden name is Borglum, but we aren't related. There are two families who took the Borglum name when leaving Denmark, mine--and his. :-)

Nice job on your quilts! Great memories. And congrats on 50 years! Bravo!
