I read a topic a while back asking if we actually use our mug rugs. Someone replied that she used her for a mousepad. Inspiration!! I usually make a small Christmas gift for the members of the support staff in my office, and a quilted mug rug/mousepad would be perfect. I whipped out 6 for gifts and made this one for myself. It works great and is so much prettier than the drab old black one that came with my computer. Plus, there's still room to park my coffee mug.
If you haven't made one yet, beware. They are addictive. :!:
p.s.I so apologize for the double post, I am having tech problems with my computer. I wish we could delete our own posts!

That is a great idea! I see a couple of them for Christmas stocking gifts for family. And maybe one for me!

I think one if the highest compliments paid on the board is when someone says they bookmarked your post. I just bookmarked this one! Loved your colors....so cute.

That is terrific! I never would have thought to use one for a mousepad. I would love to make one for my computer at work. What kind of batting did you use?

I love this idea. I have the mice that are not supposed to need a pad, but they don't like my counter tops. I have to try this.

I've made several Mug Rugs, but never thought of using one for a mouse pad. New idea...more mess.
