So pretty and cheerful! Who wouldn't enjoy that with their morning coffee? Nice job!

That should really brighten her day. She will think of you every time she uses it.

Your mug rug is really pretty. I've seen several of these on QB. I have a question... What are the finished sizes and isn't all your pretty work going to get wrecked when coffee spills all over them? Do you put a stain resistant spray on it or ????
Well then again maybe people aren't as sloppy with their coffee as I am with mine. :-)

Mine finished at approximately 6.5 inches by 9.5 inches.
I guess they're typically about this size... A friend sent me one that's almost 7 x 10 inches.
As far as messes... I don't drink coffee, I drink hot cocoa... and for now I've been using mine upside down when a cup sits on it, then put it right side up when I'm done. But I guess it's like any other quilt... wash it when it's dirty. And most of those stains come out if you catch them early.

Your mug rug is adorable. Lucky mom to have such a thoughtful daughter.

Thanks Kara. If I made one for myself, it would have to be in the washer everyday because I am always spilling or slopping. :-)
