Ok, so here's the second quilt I'm helping my mother with.
With a little more careful cutting and sewing, , the lines are better and the points are a lot better :)

We still have to put a border all the way around.

Close up of the geisha print fabric we had to fussy cut. What a pain.

The quilt is actually pretty square, It just looks rumpled on the floor.

It's a disappearing 9 patch. We just had to play around with the placement to make sure all the geishas were facing upwards once we cut and turned the pieces around :)

Baren, I love the Geisha fabric. Do you know the Mfgr? I am wanting to make a Geisha quilt and a Kimono quilt. I haven't seen this pattern before. It's a beautiful quilt. Thanks. Eiltcoq

That is a very pretty quilt and I know about playing around making sure a block is face up correctly. I just sewed a whole row on upside down on one I am making so careful is the key. I like the pattern very much.

Oh I love Geishas! Anything Oriental makes me smile and gets me almost ready to cut into my fabrics, LOL.

Great job...it is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see pix when it is completed.
