Your quilt is beautiful. I made this quilt years ago and used a burgundy fabric for the sashing and borders and gave it to my daughter. You brought some good memories. Tri-Chem paints and it was a party plan.

I love your quilt, those little dolls are so cute.
I remember Tri-Chem and Artex.. my mom used both of them. I still have a few things she did.
Thanks for sharing.

This was a fun posting and so glad to meet all of you. Right now I am working on my granddaughter's t-shirt quilt. She graduates on June 11 so I have to have it finised by the 9th when we leave. Will post a pic when I get it done. Hand quilting takes forever!!!!I have several questions (and problems)about hand quilting but will wait until I have more time to ask. Thanks everyone for all the comments.

Very nice. Glad you finally finished. Sometimes quilts just seem to take a while to finish. I am working on a quilt for my 2 year old granddaughter that I started when my son was13 years old. I only have two Sunbonnet Sues to add to two blank blocks, sandwich it and quilt it. :-D :-D :-D

Love the quilt and the story. How great you won a blue ribbon. Aren't you glad you finished it?
