great idea, I am also going to get a roll up blind and install above our closet in bedroom and have my wood guy to make a shelf at the top to cover up the blind when it is pulled up and out of the way (use the adhesive stuff to put the flannel or batting on the roll up blind)

I found a tutorial online for this

You mean something like this? The second picture is a cover I whipped up last night using my serger. I wasn't even trying to match corners, just dug up a pile of block to do s-g with.

Love the idea. I don't have space for a design but I do have closet doors. Hanging it up with hangers is great. I gave my son a quilt and he liked it so much he decided to hang it up on the wall but used hangers to do it. I burst out laughing when I saw it but he said "hey, it works". I guess it does.

Oh boy!! Now I know how I am spending my afternoon. I have the flannel and I have those hangers. Space? I'll work on that.
