Great idea! I have a flannel backed tablecloth and pants hangers, but no real space of my own to quilt. I eke by with my sewing cabinet at the back of the living room sofa. This is so portable that it could be stashed in a flash.
Thanks for sharing this!!!

Great minds and all that. I came up with the idea of using pants hangers and flannel backed vinyl across the end of my hall which has 3 doors. I came up with that last weekend. I'n going to a "quilting hen" party from thurs. to sun. and plan to take it.

My DH made me a design wall. He cut a piece of wood 48 inches square, covered it with a piece of felt and hung it on the wall. It is great.

What a great idea! I am so glad I read this today, before I "recycled" my old flannelbacks. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great idea! For my design wall I just tacked a big piece of flannel to the wall. Works great for me!
