I know, because I've used the same method to make a quilt but the instructor I took the class from called it shattered or splintered. My fabric choice was less than great (http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-39552-1.htm) and left me wanting to do something better. Where can I find the pattern? Your quilt is so unusual. I have a piece of fabric I'd like to try that on.
