He is a wonderful quilter already. What a joy for him to be able to do quilts for QOV. I am sure he is so very proud as you are of him. (My grandson who is 12 has mild aspergers also. I am so glad it is finally being recognized and there is help out there.) Great job, Carl!

It is a sweet weekend too because he (Carl) just read a book about aspergers (we have never told him he had it..he has a mild case) and he came to us (his dad and I) and said "I think I have aspergers." We told him we already knew. He wasn't upset about it...and he even smiled as he went through the book and pointed out all of the things he identifies with.
He has two of each pattern/fabrics.
Blessings!
He is so handsome! What a GREAT job he has done. Tell him we are proud of him too. Im not sure what aspergers is. Can you share? I know I can look it up, but if you want to, I would love to know. Tell Carl to KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! He is talented like his mother :)

My husband's name is Carl! After seeing your son's quilting , I think maybe I should get some confidence and try it myself.

Awesome! Carl, you did a wonderful job. Good Luck with future quilts, too. Aloha, from Hawaii.
