Default My 16 patch scrappy

Well, there was no tree icon or even toolbar, but I think I may have attached two photos the size of which is purely guess work as none of my screens match descriptions given here.
Anyway, 16P squares were sewn many years ago but I didn’t care for them or any of the ways I saw to combine them with others. I left them buried in a drawer until inspiration hit. In EQ I made a block that would add 2 squares of color to each side of the 16P to change it from a square to a sort of diamond shape and liked it. The top was quickly made, but I had trouble with the border and had to take it off and try again. Because the blocks were offset two corners were blank. One picture shows my solution. I used my walking foot and my favorite method of quilting, next to stippling, straight lines to quilt it. It is finished and on my bed and I like it.
Now I have to figure out how to get the pictures bigger and separate. Thanks for looking anyway.

You did make a lovely quilt. I had not seen that 16 patch scrappy layout before.
