    My 1600 quilt

I love this quilt! I decided to do the 1600 quilt for my first quilt after watching a few youtube videos where ladies would race to finish the whole quilt top in record time. Easy enough, except it took me 3 days instead of 30 minutes. I loved the whole process and I learned a lot for future quilts. The fabric is beautiful and it's called Noteworthy from Sweetwater. Thanks for looking and don't mind my dh, he's a weirdo.

That's lovely. I just got my first jelly roll so I'll be doing one soon.
I know it will take me a lot longer. I can't sit still that long and can only sew between other things.

I've got a jelly roll sitting in my stash that I have planned to use for a 1600...you've inspired me to get working on it!

Thanks everyone! I loved how easy it was and how colorful it turned out. I cut all my strips in half so I would have even more variety and I think I like that better then leaving the strips full lengths.
I will definitely be making more 1600 quilts but my next quilt is going to be a random block quilt called Big and Tall that I'm making for my step-dad. I get itchy between quilts so I will be starting it soon.
