I guess my real problem is that when I look at my work, I see the errors much easier than the good parts.
We have a tendency to be more critical on our own work. I think it is wonderful.

I have not had the guts to try appliqué yet. These inspire me to try it. I think they are beautiful.

they look very good. i did notice a few places that could be alittle 'smoother' but they are great the way they are. are you using a round toothpick to help (roll the edge under and keep everything smooth?) a toothpick helps you get those nice smooth turns, curves, edges. if you have not tried this before and are not sure what i mean you can visit the PIECE OF CAKE quilt shop..they teach 'Applique the Piece of Cake Way' and have good free content on the web site.
