your first attempt is great I love the Iris I hope to do as well as you what method did you use these look great thanks for sharing

I've done very little hand applique, and what I've done didn't look nearly as pretty as these, so I have no suggestions. I think once you put them in a quilt together the imperfections will fade away.

These are lovely blocks.

I did use a toothpick on the last block, but need more practice with it...
