    I,too, am doing my first applique block. After ripping out a couple of seams here and there, it's starting to click. I think yours' look great and I can already see improvement in mine.

    I will bet yours look better than you think!
    I think mine look much like the drawings children do with the fat crayons, but am hoping to improve with each block.
