Love your quilt! What do you mean, one seam flying geese? Do you have a new technique?

Here is the link, and you are not going to believe how easy it is. I have always avoided flying geese, because I just never get them uniform, but this is sure neat. Good luck

When I stumbled on the youtube video, I couldn't believe it ... second time thru I grabbed a couple of pieces of paper and my stapler to make the prototype to take to my sewing machine! That's all I needed, and then I was away to the races!

    Love the 3-D effect too!

What a wonderful job you did. I viewed the video again. I made one block after viewing this video awhile back. I was working on a barn quilt that needed flying geese on every block. I need to get this technique down and get back to that UFO. Thanks for the inspiration. I will put it on my to do list for 2011.

Couldnt a person make a "snowball" but make sure that the smaller squares corners touch and then just cut the snowball in half?

Or maybe I am just dreaming again!!

Im off to see the video.

I love the one seam method too. Your quilt is so vibrant, such an exciting look from a simple classic design.
