Too sweet! I love black kitties...is the "cat" applique a pattern or did you design?

    Thank you.
I seen a picture of a quilt similar about 18 years ago. My daughter loves cats and I wanted to make it for her but was afraid to try it. I have been sewing since 12 years old. My daughter will be 30 soon and I am going to give this to her as a surprise. I am so proud of this. I look at it and think 'I cant believe I did it' lol I got pictures of shadow cats on line and enlarged them. So I guess I kind of designed it.

That's awesome you did a great job! I was hoping it was a pattern because I'm not quite that creative or talented, but have always love my black kitties in my life ;-)

I am 55 too and I have a pillow cross stitched for my daughter with the black cats. All the color is a ball of peach yarn. I love the quilt and you did a good job.
