10-30-2014I posted the pictures of the quilt I made for my DIL for CHristmas a week ago and was asked by a couple viewers to post my other quilts I made since beginning to quilt in Feb 2010. I'm missing the picture of one quilt I made for a Lions Club fundraiser...I think it's on one of my husbands memory cards.
AS I stated in my post of a few days ago, I'm making quilts for my family. When I'm ready to start one I ask what 3 colors they'd like to see in the quilt and I select the pattern and fabrics. It has really taken me out of my comfort zone and expanded my appreciation of different colors and combinations.
The very first quilt I made was my avatar one. The first one posted here was for my grandson for his second birthday and he didn't know what colors he wanted so I selected what I thought he'd like. Here are the rest. Thanks for looking!

I used a Moda collection for this one.

Those are beautiful. I always admire the bright colored quilts I see posted but somehow haven't been able to put one together yet. Love the inspiration though.
