They are super easy and fairly quick to make once you've made a few they go faster, of course by my third one I think I can skip the directions and do it from memory... that cost some time :-)

Wow!! How beautiful! I'm about to order this pattern online and I'm also trying to get some fabric too so I can have it all delivered at the same time. Can you tell me what kind of fabric you used? Is it just 100% cotton? I'm a little lost since I don't actually have the pattern yet.
    Thanks!!

I used 100% cotton batiks and the fusible fleece. My pattern is downstairs so I can't tell you the yardage but the width is 19 inches. If you're planning on doing three colors I bought 6 fat quarters 2 of each and had left over fabric.

I bought mine at my LQS its called the Bow Tuck Tote. If you don't have a quilt store close to you, search google the pattern is about $9. They are easy to make and will make great Christmas gifts.

Oh Kristen, you told me something I had not thought of. Using fat qtrs for the bag. I have a ton of fat qtrs, and I usually by 2 of a pattern design when I buy them.
    Thanks for this idea.

I know they are so easy to buy then what do we do with them? Add them to our stashes. Now they have a purpose.

Oh that is so sweet. Just love the purple batiks. I have been so inspired by all of the bow tuck bags, that I just bought the pattern online last night. Whoo-hooo I now can make my own too.

I bought the pattern last night too! I wasn't able to find material that I wanted to use so I'll be going to the store once the pattern comes in. I've never made a purse before and I don't even know how to use a pattern. I hope I'm able to pull it off!!
