Beautiful!! I think the dark green would set them nicely!Purple would go well too, and it's her favorite color!!

yes they need sashing around eash one to set them apart otherwise they tend to run together. My inclination in sashing color is one of the medium to dark batiks or similar blenders. I like the dark navy batik with overtones of lighter or black with undertones of a red or navy. However a value similar to the cone or base of the block might be good.

I'm so amazed at all the hand sewers, that we have here on the board, One of these days Imight try to sew one blk. You do such a wonderful job on those.
