I'll leave the quilting advice to someone with experience, but I wanted to tell you that I love your wall hanging. My first class in paper piecing is in September and now I can't wait!!!! I would never have noticed the "imperfect" flower. What flower is ever perfect in nature!! Still, all of them are beautiful nevertheless and yours is no exception.

I love your flower. There are no imperfect flowers.

Very good! Now on to a Christmas Pickle quilt! Just kidding, I've been paper piecing for awhile now, even took a workshop with Carol Doak and I haven't attempted a Pickle quilt yet. But I'm going to. You block is lovely.

Pretty wallhanging. I didn't notice the stem, either.

Congratulations on taking the leap into pp. Your flower looks wonderful! You will find that there are so many challenging pictures/blocks to do with pp that you will not have time to do "regular" blocks!
