    Ok, so when I made my mind up as to where Was going to cut, I cut, then laid it out as it would look finished, using the strips and covering half and inch on each side for the seam allowance(the washing and ledge) and then stepped back and looked. I then started folding the cut parts and looking until I reached a nice flow with no distortion so it looks that the parts that are missing are behind the window panes. Once I was satisfied I cut away the offending parts...hope this helps..I am going to try to write up a detailed description of what I did for a couple of members who requested, let me know if you want me to PM a copy too.
