I love, love, love your quilt! My daughter has a foster child with autism. I am making a Christmas quilt for the child. We love that little girl! Thanks for the link to the pattern.

I just downloaded this pattern a few days back and came here to see if there were any hints. I like it so much better than the ones that look like H blocks. Although the colors on the Autism ribbons are only yellow, red, blue, and light blue, I think I may add a few colors to it. Sure do think yours is great.

Thank you for sharing your lovely and meaningful quilt. I too hope the puzzle pieces will fit one day soon.

Beautiful quilt.

I have a question on the side: would autistic children enjoy I-Spy quilts? I know all kids and all autism is not the same, but just in general? I'm wondering if search-and-find would be fun or anxiety-producing.

The only hint I have that I did, was to RAW EDGE Applique the inset piece. I couldn't get it turn under so it would look good.

I read the directions this afternoon and it will be very time consuming to do it as printed. I too may find an alternative. Thanks for answering.
