Thread: My Avatar Quilt

    Cottontop ask if I could post a few pictures of my avatar picture.
    Well here are the ones we have here at my sisters. The quilt is based on the Ramblin Rose by Marti Machell. I arranged it different so it would be a king size quilt and also added sashing, and also used different fabric.
    These pictures are just a few of the blocks. It has 24 log cabin blocks and 12 samplers.
    My sister, Cathy Wright, quilted this on her HQ Avante.

    Agreed, everything about this quilt is appealing from the variety of sampler blocks used, the fabric selections to the quilting. This to me is the quintessential quilt.
