    My Avatar Quilt

I've been very flattered to have several people request a larger photo of this quilt, so here it is. This was an original design I made quite a while ago. I have tried several times to draw the pattern out in EQ7 but have yet to figure out how to do it. I work better with fabric and thread than I do with technology! Took me forever just to post a picture here! Thanks.

"Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them." it's a great quilt and a great pattern. the center block should be easy enough to draw in EQ ... it is a 7x7 grid. i think the remainder would need to be done as a customized layout... just a thought. i only have EQ5

Beautiful quilt. I can see how it would be hard to replicate in EQ.

Thanks so much for all the kudos! And yes, QuiltnNan, the center portion is about as far as I got with EQ7. I decided it might just be easier and less time consuming to do it all on graph paper! Maybe one day if I ever decide to publish any of my patterns (ha!) I'll take the time to figure it out. There's gotta be a way.
