Ok, the title says it all, here is my baby quilt finished.

I made a label for the back and embroidered the baby's name on it, and I will add the birth date before I give it. The baby is due this week.

I also did some free-motion quilting. It's my first time, so don't laugh, I know it's a far cry from perfect, but I still like it.

The edges look kind of crooked, but they're straight, I swear! :)

"Silly bear" .... thinking we would laugh at such a cute quilt. If that's your first go at free motion quilting, well, what can I say, you fooled me. Love the little flowers on the blue patches.

Incidentally, that same Pooh fabric is the same stuff I made my first baby quilt out of :) I'm kinda partial to it.

That is adorable! And I'm not laughing at the free motion, you're braver than I! I've only ventured into quilting "X"'s and in the ditch...that look fabulous!
