    My Bargellissimo quilt finally finished!

Believe it or not, this quilt was made in the hoop.

Beautifully done Bobblehead, you were quick off the mark with Anita Goodesign's new Bargello in the hoop method! Which size hoop did you use, what size is finished quilt and how long did it take to make? I presume it didn't need quilting?

Yes it is quilted. I quilted every vertical line and there were lots of them.
It is the C size. Made in a 7x12" hoop. Hundreds of little pieces. The backing is
purple swirly fabric. I used a thicker batting because the quilting presses it down.
It is about 70" long. It took a couple of weeks to make but I didn't sew daily.
    Was it difficult? yes
    Was it fun? no

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Thank you for the information Bobblehead, I haven't read all instructions yet so wasn't sure if or not batting was also placed in the hoop as often happens in AG embroidery designs. You persevered and must have been fairly cross eyed traversing all those vertical lines! Hard going but I'm sure you learned a lot. I do love it.
