Love your bright cheerful choice. I painted one several years ago, 4 blocks - two vertical on ea. of our shed doors. The side was not visible from the house or street so went with the doors. I drew the design first on graph paper. I just used acrylic paint and primed the doors first, then penciled the design right on the door. Then it was paint by number.
