Looks great and I don't think we have to have a barn to put it on.

Love it. I live in an apartment with a balcony. I have a pattern in mind, just have to do it.

That is great and the fact that you have time to breathe with 6 kids and all you do- Kudos to you. - J

Lol. It looks great! Goes well with your house colorwise, too.

I used to see these in Siloam , Arkansas. T hey were every place you could see. Some were weather worn but still a sight to see. Thanks for the memory. Hugs

Very nice! AND, I love the story that goes with it! I grew up on a farm and my mother said that too...were you born in a barn? Since I thought she should really know, that question confused me and I had to ask my dad where I was born because mom didn't know.

Since then I found out that my mom had to hang a sheet out on the clothesline when she went into labor so my dad would be able to see it from a few hills over where he was baling hay and know he had to come home. I was a little inconvenient for a busy farmer in the month of August in the middle of the afternoon during hay season! He did his duty and got my mom to the hospital and I arrived at 3:30 pm.

Long winded way of saying I appreciate your humor!

My first husband was a farm boy. when he left the door open, I would say "Were you born in a barn? Oh, I forgot--you were."

Beautiful...why should these works be restricted to barns. I think you had a great idea.

I love it. How wonderful if more people put up in town or country. I have the two boards to paint with a design...someday. Just have to sand them down, mark out a pattern and paint them.
