I would add on to this one. You may lose interest if you decide to make another one just like it...it's happened to me.

I cut out the quilt - thinking if I liked it I would add to it and make it bigger. Well, I cut it out wrong and I'm not sure how hard it will be to follow the pattern now and make it bigger.

I have plenty of fabric and I am seriously considering completely starting over and just using this as a lap size quilt - probably as a gift.

Would you start over or try to enlarge this one?

It's going to be beautiful....I think your 5 fabrics work perfectly. As much as I am totally into colour saturation/scrappy, I think in this case 5 is better than 12. Please show us when it has "grown" to it's full potential.

I'd add black borders and make it as large as I wanted. It surely is pretty!

I absolutely adore your quilt! Yellow is my favourite colour and that particular shade is what I really, really like. I also happen to love batiks as well! Beautiful colour selection. I think that if it is possible to enlarge it, then that would be nice but it is lovely as it is too. It depends on how much time you want to spend on it and what you want to use it for. I am interested in what you decide to do next and I am looking forward to you showing us what you have decided to do. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes.

If you want a king, I`d just do another one the same then sew the two together and then add another row to the end....but that`s me...lol i love your quilt....beautiful fabric

I finally got some time to get back to my quilt this morning. I do not have enough of the yellow color to make it king size. I have enough for a few blocks, so I will add on to it ; add a black border and hopefully the piano key border. I've been searching online for the fabric and have not found it and can not remember the manufacturer. My brain is tired of looking.

I appreciate all the lovely comments and help. I'll post a photo of the top after it is done.

    Happy Friday!
