I pieced this over the last year while I was traveling. I have to have something to do in the car and in the motel at night. I had lots of the yellow material and just used scraps for the rest. It is strange to make a quilt that isn't going to someone specific.

I think about 75 X 75. I enjoy the hand piecing and hand quilting and it makes car trips go so much faster. I call the quilts I piece on trips my car quilts. I've started another one that will take over 300 little stars. So far I've made 30, I think we better hit the road!!!

Lovely, the yellow background really sets off the flowers.

Lovely quilt. Grandmother's Flower Garden is one of my favorite designs. Is the yellow also hexigons?

No, I appliqued the gardens onto the yellow squares, and putting a small border of the yellow around the whole thing. It's not fancy but I kinda like it. It looks homey to me.

I agree. The yellow makes it cheery.

Really like this quilt. Such a pretty shade of yellow and it just accents the flowers so well. Thanks for sharing with us.
