My birthday gift
#1
Hi, this is what my hubby got for me for a birthday/get well/just because gift. I think she is just the cutest machine and I can't believe how well she sews! Born in 1950 (his year of birth), he had to get a little converter box thing for it. I honestly thought they were more for show but I have pretty much put away my Janome 4000 for piecing, this works so well and will be perfect to take with me to my quilting group I just joined.

What a wonderful hubby you have!! Considerate and with good taste! These babies are wonderful machines and they're little work horses. I was lucky enough to get one recently and I've been looking since 1970! When I'd find one, I couldn't afford it. Finally everything came together and I was able to purchase my highschool English teacher's. You will love this machine and yes, they're wonderful to take to classes because of their lack of bulk and weight.

I had only started saying I wanted one last year but because I thought it was more for show (I do have 2 machines already) I didn't want to spend much. He has named her PITA because I was such a Pain in the A** when I first got it, shining it up, packing it all over the house & calling him in to my sewing room every 5 minutes to make him ooh & ahh over how she ran. I am a lucky lady (if I get too mushy about how good he is to me, he tells me he gets this quilting stuff to keep me out of his hair, works for me!!!

LOL, I have well over 2 dozen portables, around 9+ cabinet machines and still I bought my Featherweight! Tell your hubby that you only become a PITA when he can't get to his clothes because there's a machine in the way. Oh, I'm still laughing.
