Congratulations on finding your treadle. It has a lovely decal design, and the cabinet is beautiful too. You can probably replace the top section. That's the part that usually gets warped and water damaged.

Beautiful. I have a side stand made of six drawers exactly like those. A retired teacher in our area made new things of old sewing machine cabinets and old furniture. I wonder where the sewing machines went/are.

It's gorgeous! I love my Singer 66 Red Eye I found for $40. The cabinet isn't ornate, but it's a wonderful machine. congratulations! Check out Lostn51's listings.

Beautiful machine and cabinet! Thanks for sharing. I learned on a treadle machine and have very wonderful memories of my mom teaching me how to sew.
