is this the pattern that you used, I used the new search option on the site that admin. just updated for us and I think I found it

I am rather new to this forum so often miss the meaning of things that are familiar to the rest of you.
Who is Marilyn and where do I find this pattern and tutorial? I love the pattern and would like to make a quilt for one of my grandsons. I love this site and am learning a lot. Thanks....Kaye

Yes...that is the link to do the carpenter's star. I just enlarged the directions she gave when I made the one I posted here.
